And finally, the Eds arrive at the beach. They have each made a quick change into their bathing suits. I hope Eddy did leave his clothes in the woods. Knowing Edd he would have retrieved them and placed them inside his little bag.
Edd does a similar thing in Out with the Old, In with the Ed. Does he keep a spare set of his friend's clothes with him? Well, he does hold files on everyone in the cul-de-sac.
Just coming out from a conversation with Ed, Eddy starts the scene exclaiming, “Tell me something I don’t know, Ed!”
Look, Rolf was scuba diving! That helmet almost resembles the one the Kanker’s own. I never knew how much Rolf enjoying swimming or going to the beach until now. He’s always trying to adjust to America and the kid's customs. For example, he doesn’t see why he has to go the kids monster truck gathering in season 5. He’d rather be his own person instead of following along with the other kids.
I see Rolf has found a bunch of shoes.
Sadly, Rolf gets pushed back into the water when Eddy runs passed.
“Hi, Eddy!”
And Eddy just ignores her. Their vacant spot is more important then Nazz acknowledging him.
“Hi, Double Dee!”
Edd’s face looks like, ‘Nazz said ‘hi’ to me!”
“Hello, Ed!” Ed says for Nazz.
We never see Ed and Nazz interact. I’m actually really intrigued by their friendship. Nazz has had conversations with both Edd and Eddy where she may have a crush on either one of them. But, what about Ed? What does she think about him? That goes for the whole cul-de-sac.
Ed is the one who goes along with all the scams, and Eddy’s jokes. None of the kids are really sure how to interact with Ed because he’s different. Whether Ed has a learning disability or not, the kids are just starting to learn about social norms.
