I’m having way too much fun imagining Edith singing parts of Gravity while killing Noriko/Niffty’s husband. (She would also do the same to anyone she thought killed Alastor, it’s unfortunate that given the circumstances of Alastor’s death she doesn’t really get that opportunity.)

I also keep trying to sing the slower lines in a southern accent. Can’t really sing most of the song in it. But the emotion is still there and I’ve been having fun saying one liners in the accent just to get a sense of how she speaks.

Critical book reviews go beyond this by focusing on how people and events are represented, whose voice is missing from the story, and the ways in which power is enacted. This reading strategy of the word and the world has implications across every form of literacy as it empowers readers to more fully realize the architecture of the information presented.
