this is the first draft i had of liability where the idea was to have the whole edit framed around the tuna melt incident and the aftermath of it. meaning, at least for shane and ilya scenes, it was only episode 4 and before.
i ended up deciding it would be a waste to not do the "disappear into the sun" outro of liability with the sunset and sunrise scenes from ep 5 and 6, so i ended up expanding the clip selection a bit (not just for the outro, you'll notice in the final version i also used episode 5 clips for "i understand, i'm a liability", but here i used episode 4 ones).
also i found it horribly depressing to end the video on "i'm a little much for everyone" and ilya sitting alone after shane leaves. not that "you're all gonna watch me disappear into the sun" is any better but with that other version i decided to close it with that moment in the cottage where shane holds his hand as ilya's looking into the fire, which at least feels a little hopeful. Shane is there, holding his hand. there's at least that.
