Has anyone heard of a thing where your own face makes you just as uncomfortable as strangers? Like I look in the mirror and am surprised that my face looks like that, disappointed it doesn't look like something else I can't define.

Prosopagnosia can make it just as hard to recognize your own face as other people’s, I know if I see my own reflection without expecting it I don’t recognize myself and sometimes get super uncomfortable because “they” are staring at me. There’s also eisoptrophobia, the fear of one’s own reflection, though I don’t know if that’s common amongst autistics or just happenstance.
