Hello All!

After much discussion between the Admins (Elsa, Anna, and Sven) we have elected to close edgewaterhq for outside applications. The group will continue to run privately for our members, on both discord and tumblr, who wish to continue playing their characters in this setting. The main will no longer be updated regularly and all announcements from this point will be done through discord. 

This may change as time goes on, but as of this moment Edgewater is Local Traffic Only.

We are opening up the RP for applications again. We have also decided to lift the submissive ban as well. 

All applications will be accepted tomorrow.

Real life has gotten in the way, so we’ve reached the difficult decision to bring in some major changes! We must first bid farewell to our wonderful Fox/Woody who has had to take a step back from the roleplay. We wish her the absolute best and welcome her back when life allows it! We must also extend our gratitude to both Fox and Hound for establishing such a wonderful and welcoming space.

Onto the changes. The first, and most obvious, is the new admin team. Vixey has remained a part of the team and will continue to assist on the main, but will be represented now by Elsa. We welcome Po (Sven) and Jay (Anna) to the admin team and our wonderful players Shelby and Tyler as moderators to ensure our discord can still run smoothly!

The next change we are announcing are changes to our RULES. There have been several important changes to this page including what counts as activity, inactivity limit, and pre-established connections. We would also like to note that there should not be “endgames” for your characters, especially when you’re bringing in a new character. This is very discouraging to all players and prevents plotting between one another. We highly encourage shipping and claiming, but remember that this is a group setting and you are to try and interact with all players to be as inclusive as possible. 

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to the admins and moderators.

A tiny little announcement! Seeing as this roleplay has exceeded every expectation we set for it in the most wonderful of ways, we will start implementing acceptance days. Every app we receive will be placed on an appcount and accepted on the three days we have chosen as acceptance days. 

So, starting right now, we will do acceptances on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays! Character Cards will be made on Fridays and added to a queue to post throughout the week!

I will be posting acceptances at 11AM CST. Which is in about an hour and a half. If you miss the first round of acceptances, don’t worry! We will be accepting all the way up until opening. 

The roleplay will officially open up for interactions today at 4PM CST!
