"I don't...understand..."
The blinking light of this machine was stressing him out, bad. It was only a vending machine, but it had sweets in it. SWEETS.
Sam only was rarely allowed to have sweets. Well, Kaine and Seamus let him have more than Nana or Mister Adam ever did, but still.
He had never seen these types of sweets before. The vending machine even had the word "SWEET" and "TASTY" printed on it in big letters!
There were also smaller letters blinking on the machine, it read
"PLEASE PLACE PHONE NEAR FOR PAYMENT."
Sam didn't know what a phone was, or that he even had one. So he just reached up and knocked on the glass screen of the machine. Maybe there was a small creature inside that would...give him the sweets?
"Please.. I just want o-one!"
