In regard to you asking whether your instructor was being rude or if it was just you, it's definitely not just you! That is a very abrupt and unprofessional way to respond to someone. I'm sorry you have such a shitty instructor! Is there any way to leave feedback for this person? I'm not sure how schools are in Canada, but at the two universities I've been to we had to evaluate our professors. I'd definitely leave a poor rating for this person!
I’m really not sure, once I’m done my final I plan on finding someone to email to review this entire online course because there’s a lot of complaints I have about it that are just inexcusable (non functioning resources for one). I don’t really care about reviewing this individual all too much, there’s a lot of factors that could have played in to their responses (a tight schedule, just a miscommunication, etc.) and it’s not exactly the biggest factor when it comes to the course itself. I’m glad I’m not the only one who thinks that matters could have been responded to a little bit better..
