👀 she’s gonna be the protagonist of my next fic so I’ve been pondering her quite a bit
POV: Edaline refusing to let go of Sophie’s pendant. Edaline crying every night. Edaline forced to the funeral. Edaline forgetting to feed the animals, and herself. Edaline wondering how she could loose two daughters she loved. Edaline having nightmares of Grady going too. Edaline refusing to wear anything but green. Edaline not being able to speak louder than a whisper. Edaline sleeping in Sophie’s bed. Edaline regretting canceling the adoption. Edaline wondering if Sophie would still be gone if she hadn’t. Edaline embracing her sister. Edaline loosing her red-headed, dimpled nephew. Edaline gasping and crying on the edge of the cliff that took Sophie’s life. Edaline trying to use Sophie’s ipod. Edaline not sleeping without Ella. Edaline wincing when she puts on mascara, knowing Sophie wouldn’t be able to do the same. Edaline going through all the clothes she had bought Sophie, knowing she’d only worn them to make her happy. Edaline doing small things, like dropping a glass of water, and mumbling how everything was her fault as she tried to clean up. Edaline thinking she’d never smile again, just like how she would never see Sophie again. Edaline crumbling, again.

Another year and another book down. Just finished Flashback and it looks like we finally got some fitzphie development. Much to Keefe’s disappointment.
Oh and by development, I just mean acknowledgement from both parties. Nothing actually develops in this series.
