Welcome!
I hope youāre getting hyped for Emerson College Orientation 2015! Hereās your chance to ask me anything and everything about what to expect, what to do, or who to see. I mainly set this up so that anyone who wanted to ask a question anonymously could, but please, everyone should feel free to ask anything!Ā
LIO!
Dermatillomania and me...
So, I had no idea that the way I picked my skin was abnormal. Like, maybe a little off beat but wow. I have issues. My face is a mess and scabbing over (and not for the first time) and I just want to pull anything rough off it even if that means opening up the wounds. The hard skin around my fingers and cuticles is constantly gnawed off. I am frequently missing skin on my hands and face. I pick at random spots on my arms and legs, any bumps I can find. I bite off lumps in my lips and inside my cheeks and have open sores that last for days. I even compulsively scratch at boyfriendsā skin, more than one, picking and scratching until THEY bleed sometimes. Its crazy. I had no idea people didnāt want to do that. Its so satisfying. Picking something and seeing some little core come out, leaving a little hole, is ESPECIALLY satisfying. And how do people function with those little bumps waiting to be picked off? Idk man. Thatās trippy.
So much food at the Multicultural Taste of Boston <3 #eceating #ecorientation #ecwelcome
