All of our tins from food get washed and stored for redemption/recycling. With metals on shortage, landfills bursting at the seams, and inflation, it just makes sense. Whenever I have a load of steel, we take it to SIMS metal and cash in. To keep it out of sight, we bag it and store it in one of our unused compost bins that is enclosed. Same with aluminum cans.
