Have you done LOTR/Hobbit yet? Oh and october is coming up! We need costume ideas to start on!
Tolkien/Hobbit was done in the last 50 fandoms. I have some stuff that I was saving for October, because it is kind of 'Halloweeny'. I'll probably start posting that further into September. I'll look and see if I have any costuming/cosplay stuff, though!

I think manly crochet items would be better. There are so many feminine things you can do but crocheting something a man or boys would like is hard.
Feminist projects aren't inherently feminine. What would count as a manly project, I wonder though? Crocheted facial hair? I see those worn by feminine appearing faces mostly. Helmets or armor? Again, something I seem to find of more with feminine models.
And we all post plenty of stuff that people of all genders like. I know that when I've shown this tumblr, and others like it, to my male friends, they have loved all of the hats, blankets, and plushes/amis that are put up. My very own scruffy-looking nerf-herder absolutely adores his Dalek that shouts 'Exterminate!' every time he taps it's bottom. He has been known to hug it!

Depends what you put together. Like there is Lolita, and stream punk. If you can't figure out a category go with dressing up ^_^
It's a retro-inspired dress that I am making out of fandom-inspired fabric. I know that I could just say that I'm dressing up for my con, but then people always give me a weird look. Saying that I'm cosplaying may not be much better, but at least their is a cool portmanteau attached to the concept!
