The second day, we took part in a meeting concerning water. Water is essential for everyone, and that became a base for German and Polish students to meet in a video all to make custom water bottles. The main reason for the workshop was raising awareness about the progressive difficulties with accessing clean water.

On Wednesday, we took a trip to Cracow. Our guests visited a ship called "Kokoworld", in which you can buy clothes that were ethically made. It has the Fairtrade certificate. Aside from that, we took a walk by the Vistula River and participated in a lecture about the history of Fairtrade and the making of clothes.

Thursday contained a lecture about the Sewage Plant in the city centre, which was about the things we can do and the actions we can take to protect out environment and popularization of the correct ecological stands. Aside from that, we also visited Stawiki, which is a lake and one of the most popular places in Sosnowiec. It used to be very polluted, but thanks to the measures our city has taken, now it became a good place to relax.

On Friday, we summed up what we learnt and, sadly, had to say goodbye to our guests.

I think, that everyone knows about the problems our planet is struggling with, but not everyone takes them seriously and tries to do something about it. 

As many things that we are currently doing will have a negative impact on the Earth only in hundreds or thousands of years, many people do not care about it, because they are not alive until then. I believe that caring for our planet is very important. Because it gives life not only to us, but also to animals, which on our planet are less and less, because of the constantly bad actions from humans. Taking care of our planet is not so hard, and there are many things we can do to regenerate Earth condition: rubbish segregation, reducing car use, not throwing rubbish into forests, not burning rubbish, etc. It is not difficult, and once everyone started doing it, it would be much better. Nevertheless, over time, more attention is paid to caring for our planet and people take more actions to reduce the damage.

Today, on April 22, we have an Earth Day. We should take care of our planet every day, but this one time it's worth taking care of especially. We don't necessarily have to go to the street and collect rubbish (which is a very good idea anyway). To take care of our planet on this day, we can, for example, sell old clothes and things that we don't use, so that they can be used by others. Our planet's health is an important issue that cannot be ignored, so remember to be eco!

Today is the day that every single human should care about and participate in - earth's day.

Once a year during springtime on april 22 a lot of people are going outside, to clean up their environment and promote ecology to make our world more friendly, clean and healthy.

Why should we care?

Each day our world is being more and more polluted, and we can't ignore that cause otherwise it will start to affect our health.

However in my opinion, everyone should treat EVERY single day as an "earth's day" and care about his surroundings.

In our school we also care about earth, so we went outside to take care of our city. Here's some footage:

our main goal, as i have included before, is to make our planet all warm&toasty, and to stop people from further destroying it. we've only got one earth, don't we?
