The Bezerra Ecopista stretches for about 12 km, featuring trails surrounded by nature, windmills, tunnels, and even the "Porta do Vento" (Wind Gate).
It was built along the route of an old railway that transported coal from the Bezerra Mines between the 1930s and 1950s.
It is said that the valleys were so narrow and the coal so heavy that the train moved very slowly, people would hop off to pick flowers or fruit and then calmly climb back aboard.
