Our last morning here. Alarm set. Up early. Leaving the house in pitch black, with a head torch, and all the warm things contrasting the cold fingers and toes. Sometimes our heads get in the way of things we really love to do. I could have been wooed to stay in the warmth this morning. 100%. Too tired. Too dark. Too cold. Too early. But to have these moments and this view tucked inside my mind from our last hours? That's restful. Recovery. Reviving. I'm still learning to rest.
