WisDOT FASTLANE Grant Support
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is applying to the US Department of Transportation to receive funding from a new grant program.  US DOT has initiated the Fostering Advancements in Shipping and Transportation for the Long-Term Achievement of National Efficiencies (FASTLANE) grant program after Congressional passage of the Fixing America’s Surface Transportation (FAST) Act.
The FASTLANE grants will provide dedicated funding to transportation projects addressing critical freight movements. Â The program is designed to support freight and highway projects of national and regional significance.
We respectfully ask you to support WisDOT’s application to receive FASTLANE grants for the I-39/90 expansion project in Dane and Rock Counties.  You can support these projects by providing endorsement letters patterned after the attached template.  Your endorsement letters, addressed to US DOT, can be sent directly to US DOT or back to us.  Either way, we will need to have a signed PDF sent back by Friday, April 8 to include in our application packets.
