well obviously simon and sara are hosting and they told wille and felice to get there sometime in the evening (but simon secretly texted wille to come earlier so they could have some time... to themselves)

when they all get there they decide to make pizzas and they play music and dance around the kitchen and living room while they're waiting for them to be done

as they're eating their pizza they put on a movie... felice and simon want to watch some feel good comedy while sara and wille want to watch something with action... felice and simon win

while the movie is playing in the background, felice is operating a nail salon and painting all their nails. while wille and simon wait, they're sitting with wille's hair in simon's lap and simon brushing his fingers through his hair

the pizza is done so sara, whos nails have dried, has gotten up to grab all the candy and snacks that they got for the evening

without noticing the movie has ended and they mindlessly chose another, but mostly they're laughing and joking and talking. felice has also brought some facemasks so they're putting those on and laughing.

everything is just relaxed and they laugh until their stomachs ache and wille takes pictures on his phone to treasure and look back when he's feeling a little more lost

they finally put on another movie which they're determined to pay attention to, but felice and sara keep throwing popcorn at wille and simon who keep getting lost in each other

they don't know when they finally go to sleep but it's well past midnight

(i could go on... maybe i'll write it)

3 Wow would you describe your writing style?

This is a very good question. First of all, I'm not wordy - I edit to make sure I use as few words as possible to tell the story, to make each word more impactful. It's a trick I learnt from back when twitter was sort of okay and there was a 160 sign limit on tweets. It was a good exercise for me bc I have adhd and tend to be very wordy, writing stream-of-consciousness almost uneditable messes of run-on sentences. ButI've had to begin dictating, because I can't write as much and certainly not as fast as my mind runs, and I'm only now getting to a point where the dictation is NOT causing me to have to do a massive editing job afterwards. I'm not sure I can write as well as I used to, but I've tried to come to peace with that. I hope I'm able to retrain my brain to get back at least some of that skill.

Before I began writing fanfiction, the only writing I did for fun was writing poems, and I think that the poetic language sometimes spill over into my fics, often with metaphores and symbolism from the nature I grew up with, or the intense feelings I remember from when I was a teenager & in my early 20s, when I write about powerful emotions.

24 Thoughts on flashbacks/flashforwards.

Well done flashbacks can be very efficient storytelling. And flashforwards also has its uses, say in magical realism (such as in soulmate type AUs) and fantasy settings. Some of my fav authors are very good at flashbacks, and it's inspiring to read their works.

36 How do you come up with fic titles? What's the one you're most proud of?

I may pull them from the story itself, from a line I've written, such as Second Skin. Other times it's from a visual the story gives me or the inspiration for the story, such as the s3 promo of Simon and Wille standing on the treshold at Hillerska, ready to begin Walking into the light. Or it just land in my head like Your friendly grindr neighbour. Or it's just a description of the story, like Halloween party and A holiday in Saepmie. Not my most inspired titles, and if I had had more time to consider it, I'd have given them different titles, because I definitely like the first type best.

My personal favourite is Second Skin. I think it's both evocative and poetic, and I loved writing the part of the story it comes from.
