Timbuktu Campground @ Echo Bluff State Park is one of the nicest campgrounds that we have visited. They have full hookup sites on concrete pads that are spacious. The location is convenient to many historic venues & sites to visit. It’s a very peaceful & relaxing place to stay. There isn’t any cellphone service, but they do have Wi-Fi. There’s wildlife & wild horses in the area. Situated along a scenic route. It’s a perfect place to set up camp if you’re a nature lover. Plenty of hiking, canoeing, and outdoorsy stuff to do. Echo Bluff State Park is a magnificent place to visit with cabins, a restaurant, gathering room, playground, lookout bluff, access to Sinking Creek, & trails. The Timbuktu Campground has nice sized concrete pads for camping w/full-hookup options.
