Echo helmet process . I started with a silver base coat, and then proceeded to add layers of Montana Gold paint. While the paint was still tacky, I used balls of tape to chip off parts of the top coat, and used strips of paint to tear off edges to reveal the silver underneath. . The final steps were to give it a wash of watered down mixed black and brown acrylic paint, and using a chrome pen to add very fine stratches to the surface. . Then I sealed it with a clear matte spray. And thatβs it! . I probably wonβt do the full suit, but itβs on my wish list.
