Headcannons Incoming!

Echo was first brought just before the Zane and the ninja arrived at the lighthouse, but there was a problem with his power source, so Dr. Julian had to temporarily deactivate him for repairs.

When the ninja washed up on his doorstep, Dr. Julian was ecstatic to see Zane again. But when he found out about the threat of the Dark Island, he gave Tai-D instructions to activate Echo if he didn't come back after a certain amount of time.

When he was brought back online (after Tai-D installed a duplicated power source from Zane), he found a video of his father explaining what was happening, and what he should do if he didn't come back.

Echo ended up waiting far longer than his father had told him too, but that was because he was a little afraid of leaving the only home and family he'd ever known.

Okay, new AU time!

I've been watching a certain Sci Fi series lately, and something clicked with me while I was watching it...what if, while trying to cope with her loss; Jay went wondering, and found a portal to another realm...one where Nya never became the Nyad?

What if, when he got to that realm, the ninja were already dispersed; Wu, for all of his power and wisdom, is dead.

Lloyd is missing and presumed dead.

Harumi and the Sons of Garmadon, were the hero's instead of the villains...even if they were all wiped-out when Garmadon became more of a Draconic to stop the invasion in season 10. And Harumi? She still dies; but this time protecting Lloyd from his grandfather.

And Jay? Officially: Missing, after saving Nya from an assassination attempt by an unnamed assassin.

...And then Jay, after stumbling across a weird contraption in Dr. Julian's old Lighthouse, is pulled through to this world, with Echo and Tai-D in tow...

And now, they have to find their ways home from this world of worst-case scenarios. Where all of the ninja, for one reason or another, turn evil...

Don't you mean who? Lol

Oooo, this one should be good!

A) Echo remembers everything that Zane does about growing up in the lighthouse, because Dr. Julian backed-up all of Zane’s memories before he died.

B) Echo is very curious about the world, and will always ask a full barrage of questions at the absolute WORST time! (Like sneaking up on Jay and Nya when they are making-out on the couch)!

C) He remembers everything from season 6, and even more, because every time Zane has a prophetic vision, Echo also remembers that time line too. He’s sat on his island and watched the world end more times than the number of cakes decimated by Cole...

"And this here is my favourite place to visit, the bar." Ronin exclaimed to the rusted up droid he discovered one day. The robot, whom he dubbed Echo was found at some old lighthouse he took camp in after finally escaping from the Keeper's Island.

"Can't imagine why someone would keep him here, guess there's some things Zane didn't know about his old man. Man all that sightseeing really makes a man thirsty." He thought. "Hey Dareth, get me a scotch and coke."

The plump bartender was more than happy to see Ronin again, as much as he didn't approve of whatever illegal business he found himself in this time. "Who's your little friend? You didn't try making your own Zane did ya?"

"I am Echo, I was built to protect those who can't protect themselves." The droid beamed, flopping over onto one of the stools.

"Aw how sweet, what can I get for you? I might not be much of a ninja myself but I sure know my way with mixing drinks." Dareth said as he whipped up Ronin's drink order. "You want the same? Or how about a cold beer instead? I have learnt how to make frozen sangrias too."

"Why does everything at this bar have so many drunk drinks?" Echo grumbled, crossing his arms and pouting.

The brown ninja couldn't help but chuckle, pouring him a glass of chocolate milk. "Bars are known for them, I take it you're new here?"

"I promised to show him all around Ninjago city, said he had dreams of seeing Jay at some point. 'Course I find that a bit hard to believe, me being part of a ninja team without anything in it for me?"
