yes. in one of the knuckles the echidna issues its revealed that when lockes wife lara-le was pregnant with knuckles he had a dream about his childs fate or whatever and so he took knuckles egg and blasted it with chaos energy. ppl refer to this plotpoint as "had a bad dream, better microwave the baby!" anyway this mutated knuckles and is the reason he has bone spurs on his hands and also why he was green for awhile. because it made him a living chaos emerald.

i dont have the edited image on me, but at some point it was edited to say smth like "a halloween ago, emos found a my chemical romance in this bush, so now every halloween until the end of time we must closely inspect the Magical My Chemical Romance bush". now referencing the pie in the bush has now basically become shorthand for mcr tinhatting/truthing (ie the slightest whiff of mcr5 -> looking in the pie bush). i hope that made sense '^_^
