In sharp rebuke to Trump, EU’s foreign policy chief says deal will stay in place.
Quick reminder, the Iran nuclear accord was negotiated by the EU. The US is just one of the signatories. Being it a rather important one.
The EU spent a lot of afford to get the US, under Obama, to sign up to it. Knowing full well that it would be hard to persuade the Iran to abandon it’s nuclear program without them. However, the US is not technically necessary, and the Iran is still bound to it as it stands.
