Josh and Emily both lived in Vancouver and had for quite some time now. Both of their shows filmed in Vancouver and were on multiple seasons. Since they were different networks, the two hadn’t really crossed paths till they filmed Sidekick. He had licked getting to know Emily—she was a really great girl. So, of course, he was going to try and hangout with her after filming. Josh had recently gone through a divorce and had a kid to take care of, so he didn’t really get out very much. However, they weren’t filming right now and Emily had agreed to get drinks with him. There was nothing to lose.

Telling her what time he would be there, Josh got in the shower and prepared for the evening. He got dressed, clad in a pair of nice jeans and a button up shirt, and styled his hair. When he was just about ready, he checked the clock and noticed that he was making good time. The nanny was already there and taking care of Oliver, so there was no need to worry about that. Using the last moments to put his shoes on and spray on some cologne, the man was headed out to pick her up. Arriving a little while later, he parked outside of her house and made his way to the door, knocking and waiting for her to answer.

[text]: Well, thank you, gorgeous!

[text]: Thank you, beautiful, Emily! 

[text]: Had a great time getting to know you on set today. Would you be interested in going to get some coffee sometime? Or maybe some drinks?

[text]: I feel like we gave up on us too fast. I can’t think of a good reason why? Please come back and I’m sure we could talk things through. 

[text]: I’m really glad that we can still be friends. It means a lot to me. 

[text]: Em, I heard about all the hate you’re getting. Are you okay? Please know that I’m here for you and what they’re saying isn’t true. 

[text]: I got a girl pregnant. I have no idea what I’m going to do. I’m barely keeping it together. 

[text]: Felicity is so badass! You kicked ass tonight! 

[text]: Okay, Em. Thanks.

[text]: Well, my door is always open if you want to stop by. 

[text]: Well, if you want to, I wouldn’t turn you away. If you have something better to do or don’t want to get involved, I understand.
