Emancipation of E has been out for two weeks.

Interviewer 1: How was it like coming from Prison and getting back to work?

Eboni: I felt pressure. I knew that once I was out, my label would need me to continue with my contract. So Jude gave me another chance to do that and here we are now with Emancipation. It is doing really really well right now. I have three songs charting so, all I can do is keep going on my promise.

Interviewer 2: Does that mean a tour?

Eboni: (smiles) yes it does. The Emancipation Tour will begin later this fall. First with overseas then ending with the States.

Interviewer 1: Any chance Supersleaz will be on the tour?

Eboni: I have been in talks with her management, she has her own tour coming up but as far as guest appearances go? I’ll let that be a surprise.

Interviewer 2: I take it you two have a growing friendship?

Eboni: I would say so. We are still learning each other , but real always recognize real.

Interviewer 3: will your close friendship with Passion ever be resolved?

Eboni: time and healing. It’s a lot to take in. I truly do respect her hustle. Always have. But right now, I don’t think we are ready to cross that bridge. I think we both need time to think before we can confront each other on our issue.

Interviewer 3: It seems you have quite some forming issues to squash. Just recently an unknown woman tried to get into the conference and had to get escorted out. Any idea as to what that could be?

Eboni looked at @mxxden before continuing.

Eboni: I’m not sure, but I’m sure my bodyguard will handle it. He seems to handle disturbances well. He’s been so comforting and understanding with me, he’s a delight to have (widely smiles) Around.

Interviewer 4: what’s next for Eboni X?

Eboni: Thinking about acting a little...and I might be joining forces with Jude Law to help produce unplugged.

All of the interviewers start penning the news down. It was a big deal working with Jude and also partnering with MTV. Eboni just let a great resource break through.

Interviewer 4: can you update us about Unplugged? Or give hints?

Eboni: I think the cats already out of the bag. Supersleaz will be the Artist exposed. It will be this Sunday at 8:00 PM Eastern time. It’s the first unplugged in many years. I think 10 or 12 to be exact. Jude Law is funding its comeback. It’s going to be a 2 hour special with interviews in between.

Interviewer 5: You mentioned you had an announcement. Would you like to share that?

Eboni: (smiles and blushes) Yes, I plan to help fund an Art School for Young Performers right here in New York. I’ve been keeping this in for so long. It’s a school for former juvenile youth who have a remarkable talent in acting, singing, and dancing. It’s to get them back on track , out of trouble, and doing what they love to do hopefully they will earn fame like some of us.
