Y'all know about my oc Ebist right? Frost's fanchild? The more I think about him, the more depressing his lore could get, depending on when he was born. Like, if he were born way before Frost got found out, he'd probably wonder where his dad disappeared off to. But if he were born afterwards, Frost would be going through too much with a child added to the mess.
Personally, I like the idea of Ebist being born before Frost gets found out because the second option just didn't feel right, y'know? Like, I'd be doing too much.
Anyways, if Ebist were to be born before Frost got found out for his crimes, the boy would probably think that he got abandoned. Which is true, but I'd say it's not for the reason he thinks. Ebist, probably being young, thinks that his dad stopped loving him and just decided to not show up anymore one day. In truth, Frost believes that it is best that he hides away so that his son doesn't become a target or a bargening chip by people that want him dead. So he'd be more than willing to let his son hate him for something that was never true. Because Ebist was the best thing that's ever happened to him in his whole life.
