...Mini being because all she can do is laugh when she sees this movie so there’s not too terribly much to say about it.
Death Note (2017) was something of a magical movie to watch -- in that, yeah, I found it so bad it was actually enjoyable. It’s definitely one of the more entertaining live-action anime adaptations I’ve seen in my life.
Eb doesn’t say it, but trust me, the fear rating (how much fear she gives a movie/thing) is definitely a 0 out of 10.

i must spread fiction kin positivity!!! it is so amazing to resonate so strongly with a piece of fiction that you embody it!! it is so amazing to balance that life and your own and embrace every intersection!! it is so amazing to be the character that you are in your entirety, to understand them completely, and juggle all of that while simultaneously going to school or work or otherwise living a brand new totally different life!!!
wherever you are on the sliding scale of deeply understanding a character to being that character in every way shape and form, you are amazing!! it is such a beautiful thing to see yourself reflected in another world and harness that as an essential component of your new self. it is such a beautiful thing to see those shadows on the wall depicting relationships you once had or people you are missing and choose to chase them, to believe that if your reflection once found happiness there you can too!! i love you all!!!!
i dunno if this is just a me thing but when i say stuff like “looking for my rose/jade/dave etc” i do not necessarily mean someone who aligns with all my perceptions of who they were/are, because my thoughts about that are kind of hazy anyways! i kind of just mean someone who i can get along with in the same way, and who gets along with me. like, somebody who has the same role in my life i guess, and vice versa. being able to understand and feel comfortable/at ease with each other is the most important to me! i don’t necessarily believe there is a singular incarnation of my friends from my exact universe, i think it is more complicated than that, or less complicated, or something.
i won’t lie, even with that qualification it is still kind of a pipe dream! but i want to have best friends again, i guess. i have a lot of friends but i get really lonely. there is something really different about having best friends like you guys, and i have not been able to feel as close as that to anyone in a long long time. people tend to attach to me more than i do to them. i just never feel connected! i love them but for me it works differently. breath thing i guess?
