I know the numbers aren’t that impressive as compared to the mainstream fics, but for me it’s more than enough, because when I started writing and publishing OIIR? it was just for myself. And I honestly never expected this story to have more than 500 views and 20 likes. You could guess how non-existent my self-esteem is lol.

OIIR?, in essence, has served as my practice, because, before this, I have never finished a plot-driven story. I’m THAT lazy of a wannabe writer (and I didn’t believe I was capable of writing one). I told myself that if I ever finished this one, I could die happy knowing that I have accomplished something. I didn’t like writing stories because I’m too lazy to set up plots and characters and drama and shit. I’ve always been more interested in a character’s emotions and thoughts, rather than real linear descriptive narratives.

But yeah, “eatsoulsforbreakfast” has become my safe zone now, my form of therapy, and that’s why even if 100K and 3K likes aren’t that much to others, to me, it’s more than I have ever expected.

(And if there’s one good thing that shipping Camren has done to me, it’s this. Camren has inspired me to be able to find a story I could be interested to write and finish. So yeah, Lauren could hate this ship all she wants and say it was never real, but to people, Camren has saved lives in more ways than one, and I know that it probably has been a rough time for Camila and Lauren to deal with delusional fans and shit, but there’s always a silver lining to everything (even my butt hole has silver lining), and that is, they have saved lives. Their non-existent, not real ship did this. What more of it turns out to be real? Lmao!)

I plan on ending it soon bec I wanna focus on the college AU I’m currently writing. I don’t have an outline for chapters/plot so i can’t be certain how many chapters left for OIIR? But most likely the story won’t reach chapter 50 (as originally planned).

It depends on how big and dramatic I want the car accident scene to be.

So, I just saw today the translated version of my fic “Or Is It Real?” and it seems to be getting more votes and views than the real thing lmao! should I be depressed? 😅😥

(It’s weird seeing what I wrote written in a language I can’t understand. Lol.)
