Enjoy tasty sushi made with roasted fish that you just took out of the freezer. This recipe makes it easy to make sushi with frozen fish fillets, which is great for a quick and filling meal.
Ingredients: 200g frozen fish fillets. 2 cups sushi rice. 4 nori seaweed sheets. 1 avocado, sliced. 1 cucumber, julienned. Soy sauce, for dipping. Wasabi, for serving. Pickled ginger, for serving.
Instructions: Preheat oven to 375F 190C. Place frozen fish fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Roast the fish in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until cooked through. Remove from oven and let cool slightly. Meanwhile, prepare sushi rice according to package instructions. Lay a sheet of nori on a bamboo sushi mat. Spread a layer of sushi rice evenly over the nori, leaving a small border at the top edge. Place a strip of roasted fish, avocado slices, and julienned cucumber along the bottom edge of the rice. Using the sushi mat, roll the nori tightly around the filling. Slice the sushi roll into individual pieces using a sharp knife. Serve with soy sauce, wasabi, and pickled ginger.
