One more quick thing about today before I disappear...
I got the Biden replacement flag/sign up and it unexpectedly turned into a faceoff with a Trump dude putting out his signs.
This guy swooped up to put a sign out across the highway from me, then he sat in the MiniMart parking lot a loooong time just watching me. I took a long time on the sign, using lots of wire and other things to make it harder on thieves, so he had to wait. I made sure he knew I was watching him too.
When I was done I only walked back up the driveway as far as the cars, and watched. He pulled out and came along slowly. He started to pull over at my sign, but spotted me standing there. He raced away fast.
I ended up waiting in the driveway half an hour, during which he made another attempt to stop. Until dark I kept making trips down the driveway to check on the sign, and to be seen checking.
So I dunno. I was kinda hoping the sign would last until election day, but maybe lasting until tomorrow will be lucky.
