I have one of the songs from the newer Meow Mix commercials stuck in my head. but I can’t really remember what the instruments are doing in it, so between the vocal lines my musical imagery machinery substitutes stuff. most of the time it’s that synth/vocal/guitar two-chords from the chorus of Fine Young Cannibals’ She Drives Me Crazy, and sometimes a snatch of another song that I haven’t identified yet. and occasionally the whole thing morphs into the second half of the chorus of Celine Dion’s That’s the Way It Is

I found *a*, maybe the, (n)other tag I have for earworm dj moments, which is "INMI" -- involuntary musical imagery, which is the hypernym and is why I chose it.
