You said you know your way around, is there any places to avoid? You know... That might have monsters?
I’m going to assume that by monsters, you mean things that aren’t people.
As far as that goes, just stay within the city limits. There isn’t really a hard border or anything, but know this: the further inland you go, the denser the forest will get, and the less infrastructure will be of use to you. If you go far enough, you might not even make it back! So don’t do that.
As far as what’s actually out there, I’m afraid I can’t say for sure, other than spiders of varying sizes, stray golems, maybe a dragon every once in a blue moon… but, I’m no expert on that to be honest.
There are a few people who do spend quite a bit of their time out there, though, Thymus bless them. I think, two in particular would be a blue Rozo named Mochi, and a Sparsen mage by the name of Kindle. If you REALLY want to know more, you’d be better off looking for folks like them.

I'm pretty sure they skipped windows 9 because it would confuse all the computer systems that DO still use windows 95. Whatever program could read the OS as "windows 9" and leave out the 5. Then things get saucy.
I suppose that makes sense.
I don't know much about code thought but couldn't they just have called it something else like vista or XP or whatever?
