This a silly gift for my silly friend on twt
Would love to hear some Earl/Fort propaganda, ngl
Arriving to the sound of a television turned on to some relaxing classical music, the hotelier known to be Earl Grey would quietly step into what used to be his quarters. Not that it no longer belonged to him, there was just... another guest that stayed. They had no other home, after all. Giving a light sigh, Grey would give the room a once-over glance before his eyes landed upon the king-sized bed being partly occupied by a long-haired blonde. Roguefort. The hotelier would smile at such a sight, seeing his beloved thief resting well with their long hair out of its ponytail and sprawled along with the pale-colored striped blanket that seemed to be doing an excellent job at keeping them warm. Even simply looking at them at a time like this was enough to get the establishment's owner a blossoming feeling in his heart.
After taking what was likely a whole minute to take his eyes off of his beautiful beloved, Grey would rush himself just a smidge in order to get himself readied for bed. Despite his fanciful attire normally, his sleepwear was far less. A simple blue nightgown with various stains that not even he could get out, nor did he want to. Even if it irked him, Roguefort had given this to him as a gift- stains and all- before the two realized how fit for each other they were. So? Why not wear such each night it did not require a wash? It was a wonderful reminder of all the signs the two had missed in both of their oblivious fallings for each other. And though Rogue let their hair down each night, the other blonde would keep his up; though instead of the usual ribbon, there was a scrunchy.
Once hygiene, the television, and whatever else there was to do was taken care of, the cleaner would look down upon the sleeping gem-procurer with a tired smile on his face. He hadn't even entered this room with the smallest amount of drowsiness, yet now here he is, standing by the bedside with enough sleepiness in his body to make him pass out in minutes. Through eyes that were quickly becoming heavier and more difficult to keep open, Earl would look down and take in all that Roguefort was at this moment. Beautiful, fragile, not a care in the world for what was around them.
The gentle rise and fall of their chest, the way those soft breaths made no discernable sound, the way that their body held absolutely no tension whatsoever... Grey wondered if he was just as beautiful to Roguefort when he happened to be the one sleeping first. And upon snuggling himself beneath the sheets, his beloved only appeared even more heavenly. How soft their skin looked, despite the eyebags, how a few strips of hair fell over their face in the most graceful way they could... Ah, it was no wonder that they were able to charm so many hearts. Rogue didn't even need to try, and Earl was more than enamored.
Shifting himself closer, attempting to be as preventative of disruption as possible, the shorter-haired blonde would set a hand upon the thief's cheek, noting the small quirk of their lips upon being touched. A sleepy, lackadaisical smile. The hotelier would give a silent chuckle as he leaned in and gave his beloved a kiss on the forehead. It was light, almost feathery in nature, but he didn't wish to prevent his beloved from sleeping. He knows they'd need it more than anyone. Well, aside from maybe one person he knew, but that one did not hold any importance to here and now.
Taking a minute more to simply stare at Roguefort's visage, he couldn't help but lower his hand to their shoulder, pulling himself closer for a peck on the cheek. Multiple, even. A bit bold of him, enough to get Grey to even get his cheeks colored with a tinge of pink, but he couldn't help when his chest was fluttering with so much adoration for the one before him. He could spend hours just looking at each and every little detail on this gem's face. Rogue may call him a jewel, but truly... no one else fits the descriptor better than the one that he holds and cares for with all of his life.
Eventually, sleep would have to take hold... but before it would, Grey would turn his back to Rogue and slink himself back so that they would be front-to-back. The warmth of Rogue's body was enough to get a quiet hum of relaxation from him. His body was naturally on the colder side, so having someone that was the equivalent of a heating pad was just another benefit to adoring this thief of gemstones and hearts. Ah, but no matter how many hearts they stole, there was always the reassurance that he would be the only one they kept close to them. Taking in a deep breath and letting out a quietly audible sigh, he'd let his body get absorbed by the warmth and the softness of the blanket above and the pillows below...
The arm that wrapped around his waist...
The gentle voice that murmured slurred 'I love you's to him...
And the satisfaction of being able to repeat them back...
I love this crackship too much
Rougefort and Earl Grey would probably end up raising another amazing thief. A thief who’s well versed in style and flare, but also orderly and pristine. But… what if their kiddo got a bit too cocky? Ending up horribly injured during a heist… and possibly captured 👀?
"I swear, their presentation only gets better with age." "I wouldn't expect anything less from someone taught by the infamous 'Phantom Thief' themself!" "Oh, come now, they wouldn't be so precise if it weren't for your influence!" "Don't flatter me, Bleu... you know that they picked that up without my help."
Laughing to each other, the two beloveds would watch their child's heist as it was broadcasted over most news networks. The notorious Specter Brew- which the two knew as their dearest child Cream Cheese Tea- was back to their usual antics. Stealing bundles if not entire bags from those richer than their own blue blood. At this time, a shaking camera was pointed towards the top of a building, which was surrounded by helicopters and flashing police lights in the dead of night.
Roguefort grinned at such a familiar sight, though Grey was just a smidge nervous. "Are they going to pull that trick that always gives me a scare?" The hotelier would murmur, picking up and pouring from the teapot in the little set that the both of them had set up just to watch this occasion. Cream Cheese Tea always did plan things far ahead of schedule, just like their father. "It never gets old." Rogue would respond with a soft chuckle. The guardian would pick up their cup, only to set it down and lean closer to the television. "Oh, oh! There they go!" They cheered, watching as their child flamboyantly fell forward, tossing their fluff-coated hat into the air, only to have it even out and act as a parachute for them to fly away with. The crowd and reporters seemed to go wild at the sight, as Roguefort swiftly turned down the volume. "So noisy, those reporters are..."
"That's..." Earl would watch in awe as he watched his child almost literally fly away from danger with bags of money slung over their back... Before turning to his partner with a relieved smile. "I was wondering what you two were doing with my spare fabrics and sewing materials! You two always never cease to amaze!" The two would find each other's eyes, distracted for a moment by the gaze of one another. "It was their idea," Roguefort would joyfully explain, "I simply helped with putting the pieces together! Quite the pleasant surprise, isn't it?" "A surprise it certainly is!" "Then it seems Cheesy and I have certainly succeeded." Grey would lean over the table, as uncouth as it was, and nuzzled against Roguefort. A motion that was full of warmth and adoration. "You and Cheesy never fail to impress me, no matter how mild or extravagant you two act day by day."
The affection, though, would quickly be cut short as whatever nameless reporter on the broadcast would pipe up. Though it was quieter, the one on the broadcast could certainly be heard. One of the helicopters was flying towards the extravagant swiper, with someone even going so far as to lean out of the plane in an attempt to catch the deviant. "Hah! Do they really think that-" Roguefort would sound cocky, but was shortly cut from their words as they and Grey would bear witness to a shocking turn of events. The parachute would get caught in the helicopter blades, and to escape both the reaching hands and the blades above- Specter Brew would let go of their safety and let themself go plummeting.
Grey stood up in shock, not caring for the chair that was knocked over behind them. "DEAR STARS, WHAT ARE THEY DOING?!" An audible whine from the hotelier would tear itself from his throat as he felt Rogue's hand on his shoulder. He was shaking, something that brought a grimace from a... now all too serious thief. "We... Should go find them. They should survive the landing, but afterward... those authorities..." That sentence didn't need to be finished. Taking hold and gripping tight on Roguefort's unoccupied hand, the hotelier would furrow his brow in deep-seated, despair-ridden worry. "Let's- Let's h-hurry..."

If no one is going to do it… I will. Earl Grey and Rougefort as parents, also feel free to add in some general EarlFort headcanons. Spread your propaganda, CAP OFF THE TRILOGY 🕺🕺
SELF-INDULGENCE HERE I COME!! MY CROPS SHALL FLOURISH THIS FINE DAY!!
- If the child was adopted, then more than likely Grey either brought them in upon them being abandoned in the hotel, or Roguefort took pity on a poor soul in an alleyway. - Grey is surprisingly okay with Roguefort teaching their child about how to do things like sneak around places or unlock locks. Roguefort says it's for 'safety reasons', but Grey knows it's just training. - Training for what? For going on heists! Grey always gets worried about Roguefort and the child, and often cleans around the hotel an extra few times just to cope. - Despite being together, the fact that one is a thief of riches (and hearts) and the other is paid highly for his employment, this child likely gets to have two Christmases. - Grey is far better at handling emotions than Roguefort, so sometimes they have to rely on him to tell them what to do when the child is having a bout with sadness. - Likewise, Grey also helps Roguefort through their own struggles since they've never had anyone else to help cope with it. Grey, however, does the same bottling-up tactic that he tries to get Roguefort to stop doing. - Grey's a very mellow and calm person, but that won't stop Roguefort from taking him out to places and letting him have some adrenaline-junkie type of fun! Or at least... Take him to a fair or something. - The child can claim that their parent is Roguefort all they want, but no one is going to believe them. After all, Roguefort's disguise is perfect. Roguefort even says that it's best to keep secrets sometimes, but only if it's safe! Grey is aware Roguey is a phantom thief, and plays along just as they both hope the child does.
