It's Latin. Loosely translated, Eamus Catuli means, "Let's go little whelps, so little whelps being the best translation for Cubs". The signs have been up there for 20 years. Their originator didn't tell people what they mean. It's Latin. It's a puzzle. Let people figure it out". It took a year for someone to figure out Eamus Catuli and another season for someone else to sort out AC and the numbers which before the Cubs wins the World Series it's 00, 71, 108. AC for Anno Catuli: the year of the Cubs Double zero is years since winning the division. 71 is the number of years since last winning the pennant. And 108...well you know ....and since the Cubs won it all in 2016, the sign is now all back to #zeros #AC0000000 (we can only fit 3 zeros for the plate number ;) ) - get it?!? 🙌🏼 #gocubsgo

Before I go to bed, I just have to gush on the beauty that was today. My entire life, I've been raised a #Royals fan due to living in Kansas. However, for the past 7 years I have also been a @cubs fan. I have gotten to see the Cubs play the Royals once before and we won the away game at Kauffman...but to see the Cubbies beat my other team at home? In extra innings? And I got to sing with all the other fans while seeing the W flag waving around the stadium? Oh, there's nothing like it. My heart will always be divided between the boys in blue and Chicago's sweethearts, and I would have been happy either way, but 1) seeing my two teams against each other once again, 2) the game going into extra innings, and 3) getting to see the Cubs win on my birthday weekend at a game we weren't even planning on going to was the icing on my cake. I am so extremely blessed to see another year, and to have gotten to spend today with two best friends and some new friends was perfect. I might have nearly turned into a Cubs Popsicle, but I was happy doing it. @cassiejhermes we wish you could have been with @kassias10, Matt, and me!
