This is the last year of consistently updating EAAM every day
It's been 10 years, a full decade of EAAM on Tumblr. Blogs to reblog Egypt content from consistently continue to become deactivated or inactive, and due to becoming very disabled over the past 10 years, I cannot get to posting original content like I used to.
This means that finding 365-366 days worth of posts to post every day is becoming increasingly difficult. I have to allocate health to work so that I can have insurance to pay for my disabilities. (I am in the US and right on the line of being too abled to be on SSI but too disabled to really do much else than work).
I will still be on Tumblr for my other blogs, but EAAM will likely stop blogging new posts by the end of this year (December 2026) unless I can find new sources of blogs to reblog from.
It has been my honor and privilege to help signal boost local voices in Egypt and small Kemetic businesses over 10 years. I have enjoyed sharing documentaries and knowledge of Ancient Egypt with the wider community.
This is a bitter sweet decision. EAAM will remain on Tumblr, and I will still answer asks and chats when I can. It has been one hell of a ride.
My focus going forward will be on my creative efforts of my own. I may post from time to time (like my peers have gone to doing), whenever something strikes my fancy.
