Much to our excitement, we recently got the opportunity to work on an E93 BMW M3. The 35k km run convertible had transmission & rear differential oil leaks and few other maintenance issues. This is what we took care of with BMW OEM parts: - Transmission filter & fluid - Rear differential oil seal kit & fluid - Engine & transmission mounts - Front sway bar links - Filters & engine oil Other car enthusiasts will probably get why we are so excited about handling an E90 series M3. It is truly a memorable car. These days when everything that moves is turbo-charged, itâs hard to argue the purity of the high-revving, naturally aspirated V8 that powers this remarkable sedan. The throttle response from the S65 engine is unbelievably fast and is well complemented by equally quick DCT shifts. The feedback you get from the steering wheel and the seating position is almost perfect. It is a functional, usable, and practical everyday car which we believe is going to become a collectible in the near future. Of course, like any other BMW, the E9x M3 has its flaws. Itâs important to watch out for throttle actuator issues and the infamous rod bearing failure, which could instantly kill the engine. And admittedly, the running & maintenance costs associated with this car are ridiculous. But hey, while there is no such thing as a perfect car, this one comes pretty close, right?
