To be alive: not just the carcass But the spark. That's crudely put, but… If we're not supposed to dance, Why all this music?

The Calling under the Breath
Through the evening the mountains approach over the desert sails from a windless kingdom
silence runs through the birds their shadows freeze
where are
where are you where are you I have set sail on a fast mountain whose shadow is everywhere

10k training
Ooops.
Seems like I missed about a week of training for...various reasons. Which I don’t want to go into detail about here. And to be honest, finding the motivation to get back on track was haaaard. I mean, really, once my motivation on anything gets lost, it tends to go on a lengthy vacation in the tropics and sits in a deck chair on the beach all day, sipping cocktails. Had to drag it back kicking and screaming, which wasn’t easy but has been achieved.
So, I did two training sessions since and while I haven’t had the time or energy to do much (*cough*anything*cough*) that week I can gladly report that I didn’t loose all progress. I started slow with a 30 minute run to ease back into it and was surprised how easy and well it went. I mean, not 3 months back I had to struggle with just 10 minutes, so...
Next run is on monday, where I’ll do either a 5k or 45 minutes, whichever I achieve first. And then going on to build more endurance and more distance too. Still more than a month until I try to do the 10k.
