E-Traces pointe shoes by designer Lesia Trubat González
These electronic ballet shoes are a new creation that allow dancers to track their movements through visual translation. The device, called Electronic Traces (E-Traces), was developed by graphic and product designer Lesia Trubat, an artist who is captivated by dance.
Electronic Traces by Lesia Trubat
Pointe shoes outfitted with arduino processors electronically trace the movements of dancers. An app then presents the data in graphical form so the user may interpret their choreography and make corrections to it.
