My Campaign is way more open-ended than traditional Dungeons and Dragons campaigns(it helps that I run a homebrew world).
Due to this, my players tend to have a lot more freedom which requires some on the fly scenarios. Which is actually a lot more work on my end, since I actually want to make a cohesive story. It all becomes worth it when I see the amount of fun my players have. When I can sit down and have multi-hour conversations about there characters and the predicaments they're in.
If you LOVE intra-party intrigue you'll love listening to "The World of Vala"
The worst is when you accidentally "duck season, rabbit season" yourself and switch voices.
Season 3 of the World of Vala is coming to an end! Check out the Podcast on: Itunes, Stitcher, Our Website and other podcast sites.
I’ve employed this tactic. It pleases me.

If this isnt the entire cast of the "World of Vala." It's like failing rolls is our M.O.
This has been my bane for some time. In an early episode of the World of Vala, I was attempting to have an early BBEG(Peter Veparbain) survive there initial encounter with the players but I kept messing up their rolls!
Peter was supposed to be a bad guy for the initial arcs instead he ended up losing a testicle and getting his chest caved in by a wandering former knight, a half-blind academic, a useless thief, and a newly graduated knight initiate.
