Thanks for following The-Malcolm; a big explanation
Hey guys thanks for following The-Malcolm. It's been a great pleasure. Unfortunately to me, it looked like another failure. The domain was registered back on May 2013 and was about to use it as another news site with a "The Atlantic" theme. But I find out that the theme was also available for on of my secondary blogs (The-Sock) as well, so as a result I aborted The-Malcolm and moved back to my secondary blog (The-Sock).
The-Malcolm was supposed to be one of those promotional sites for my e-novels. Unfortunately, my first e-novel, "The Trip to the Super Bowl," didn't go so well on Scribd as it got 28 reads just an hour after it released. At about 3:23pm on Friday, January 24th, 2014, I finally decided to stick with the 'reblog and post comments' idea when I come up with a 'how to promote your tumblr' question.
To be very honest with you, I'm not a social person, especially as a kid. (At the time when I was in school, especially elementary, I'm more connected with the adults than with the students) I'm a person (especially as a preteen) who anxious enough to build business not communicate with friends. I mean for sure I would to have comments and question being made. But I honestly don't like to reblog. In fact i don't love the idea of making comments so that you can promote.
Since my life got changed over the course of my teenaged years (I'm now an young adult), I suddenly feel like the opportunity that might have been open around 2005, 2006, and maybe the late 2000s' I think, have been missed. And due to the growing amount of crowded social media (as well as the media landscape), as well as the failures of my other 'blogs', I suddenly feel like I lost interest in building websites. I also lost the interest in building a media company.
Right now, I continue to blog on The-Malcolm just for you for the foreseeable future. I also will, unfortunately, reblog content from other tumblr. But from now on, until something pops up in this world out of nowhere (such as some sort of another opportunity) I will be writing a couple of chick-lit e-novels. They will be available on Scribd.
Once again, thanks for following The-Malcolm.
Malcolm (aka Chalmette F. Hayden, the pen name of e-novels)
