The movie was actually so good and I really enjoyed it! I like how this movie felt more down to earth and personal than the others if that makes sense? You get a bit of that in homecoming, but bnd really has the friendly neighbourhood spiderman vibes and I loved it smm. Ofc, Peter was depressed and in pain so that made the movie better (sorry I love him but it’s just the truth). It was so fun to watch his dynamic with frank with their opposite definitions of justice. Also, I was not expecting yelena to show up?? I was so shocked, but I was so happy to see her because that’s my girll.

Obviously, the thing with mj and ned broke my heart. WDYM PETER HAD TO WATCH ON THE SIDELINES AS HIS FRIENDS WENT TO HIS DREAM COLLEGE WITHOUT HIM, AND HE HIMSELF DIDNT EVEN GET TO GO TO COLLEGE?? Like oh my god my heart breaks for him 😭 the “I don’t love you” scene with mj was so sad but I think unfortunately it was necessary. Unless the spell gets somehow reversed and mj gets her memories back, it’s gonna have to be acknowledged that mj doesn’t feel that way about Peter anymore because she doesn’t even know him, and as sad as it is, it was completely fair of her to say that, because it would be stupid writing to have her just automatically love peter back. She was very kind with it too, and brought Peter to see Ned. THEM PLAYING LEGO MADE ME TEAR UP, LIKE THEYRE STILL BEST FRIENDS I PROMISE :(( also I haven’t seen anyone mention yet how peter told mj they kissed since she didn’t have any memory of it. I know it’s the bare minimum but at the same time I thought it was very sweet of him to tell her that.

Sadie sink played Jean Grey soo well. I think her character seems so interesting and I’m excited to see how the mcu is going to explore her. I’m not that into xmen so I don’t know a whole lot about jean grey but I know that she’s very powerful and her powers in bnd was just the start of it. I can’t wait to see the development!!

NED REMEMBERING THE HANDSHAKE! We don’t know of him saying “peter” like that at the end was because he remembered, or because he realised he was spiderman as mj had let it slip that spidermans name was peter. I’m hoping it’s the former, but realistically, it’s probably the latter, but we’ll see. I’m also soo curious to see what the post credit scene is about. I’ve seen lots of different theories, and if the tobey maguire ones are true, I’m going to be SHOCKED. I did not even know this man was rumoured to be in doomsday until now (I haven’t been keeping up clearly) but the theories have made me even more excited to find out what spidey is doing in space, or which spidey that is.
