Was looking for an image buried in my old Imageshack account and found these photos from the top of Enchanted Rock instead (they’re not in my photo tag so I don’t think I ever posted them).
10/10 would climb this giant batholith ringed by a silver crown of distant rainstorms again

Word At Work
This post is a little delayed but better late than never or?
Monday, 18th August was a very wonderful day. In fact, it was a spirit filled day all because of Word At Work. It started about an hour after it was scheduled to but the wait was definitely worth it.
It was quite hot and the sun was out. Many of us waiting outside hid under trees to get shade; some of use were on our phones not necessarily chatting with anyone but just because we barely knew anyone there while others were walking around exchanging hugs and smiles.
Let me skip to the actual program to stop boring you with all these details.
The attendance was massive. I mean, many people from many schools came and we were all young. It's encouraging to see that there are at least this many young people who are still thirsty for God related matters.
There were quite a number of break-dance performances with quite unique moves that made them different from the others. Other people also came to show their gymnastic skills as well as their azonto and alqueeda moves. These performances were very captivating because at times, ones heart could not help but skip a beat when someone suddenly decids to somersault or jump so high. Phew! That was frightening mmom.
Then there was the musical side. Worship was wonderful; I mean with your eyes closed, completely oblivious of the person sitting beside you and singing with your not so nice voice. Aside that, some people came to do solos and were backed up by (normally inaudible) singers but that made us appreciate the singers' talents even more.
Question time was okay; we got the chance to listen to the questions some people had always wanted to ask and also had the opportunity of listening to some pastors' views on them.
But the peak of Word at work was the (I don't even know what to call it) the ministration and deliverance time. Wow! Genuinely, I wanted one of them to prophesy into my life but chale it swerved me. One of the pastors could suddenly have the urge to call someone and tell the person what he or she is going through or what gift he or she has to unlock. It was almost supernatural. I mean with such an experience; how can you say that God was not there.
The proudest moment for our family was when we saw one of our brothers, Gospel, ministering to people with his God given talent, poetry ;spoken word. It was wonderful and one couldn't help but just shout every few minutes to encourage him and show how proud we are of him.
If you were not Word at Work, I hope next time you will WORK on your WORDS to find your way there. (Did you see what I did there? LOL)
