a rant about this whole bs
listen, saying malec deserves to win is not wrong just as saying evak deserves to win is not wrong either!!!! i saw many people saying that couple 1 deserves to win because of this or that and then discrediting couple 2 as justification. THIS IS WRONG. both malec and evak had a huge impact and broke many stereotypes in their own way because: malec is an interracial couple of two men: one is gay and the other is bisexual, canonly. plus, they have a healthy relationship even though the circumstances are not the best. we don't see that in almost any tv show that has the privilege of being aired on prime time, just as shadowhunters does. evak, in addition to being a relationship between two guys, also shows that IT IS possible to love and be loved even if you're bipolar and suffer from your condition daily. skam even shows scenes of Even having breakdowns and such, just so people know what it's like. evak shows that you can have a healthy relationship even when you're mentally ill. so yes, both of these couples have reasons to win and serve as great representation. you don't have to insult your oponent to win fairly. you can vote for your ship without saying bs about anyone.
