i Know in my Heart that while the starfleet cadets are getting therapy-disguised-as-acting-classes from Tilly and having heart to hearts in the halls every five minutes (dealing with very real trauma and very real emotions, but with a gentle touch) that over in the war college Kelrec is managing a category five meltdown every day from Dzolo, Kyle, or any one of their friends, which include but is not limited to daydrinking, destruction of property, fistfights in the halls, and challenging one another to a fight to the death over very misplaced anger and blame at each other. that man is putting out fires every five minutes, sneaking vapes in his office when he thinks no one is looking, and dragging Dzolo to her starfleet-mandated therapy twice a week. and he's keeping a really close eye on Kyle because nobody trusts the guy who's all smiles after a tragedy.
