it’s funny to me that a lot of people assumed mg2018 to be a light one. I mean yes, in terms of bullying and other problematic scenes but oh god the angst between shancai and daoming si’s character really broke that assumption. It’s literally drama after drama. i was emotionally exhausted when I first watched mg2018 because they gave us so much caisi’s sweet scenes then another drama scene again. I will never shut up about dylan wang’s portrayal of DMS. He literally brought DMS to life considering it was his first drama. And shen yue, nothing.. i just love everything about her potrayal of shancai although the dubbing really ruined it for me. I miss the cast sm
