When Will My Site Get Eligible To Run Dynamic Remarketing Ads on Facebook?
Remarketing started off 7 years ago and become very successful in couple of years. Remarketing allows you to show ads to the people who visited your website your site or mobile app. Dynamic remarketing is nothing but showing with exact product or services pages which you visited earlier where you didnât take action like buying a product or making an enquiry for a product. With tailor made ad creative or offer, dynamic remarketing helps you build leads and sales by bringing previous visitors back to your site to complete what they started.
Facebook dynamic remarketing ads show users ads containing products that theyâve viewed recently on a businessâs app or website. This reminds users about the product and encourages them to come back and purchase. Facebook dynamic product ads use a basic template to distribute ads containing different products to the right audience. They allow you to run dynamic remarketing campaigns using the data from your Facebook pixel or SDK of mobile app to show users relevant products. They can be run in a form of single image ads, carousel ads, or collection ads.
I wanted to run a dynamic remarketing ads for my company which is into health supplements i.e. proteins, multivitamins, fish oils and probiotics. I setup the campaign but I couldnât get campaign running on Facebook. I did Google and tried to find solution but I couldnât get the right information. One day (in mid-October 2018) I got a call from Facebook Singapore team and told her the campaign issue. She just tald me that you need to get at least 10,000 visitors on any single webpage (could be product, category, home, sub-category page) of your website through Facebook paid campaign. I looked into the Google Analytics and came to know that we got only 5,000 visitors to our landing page. I increased the budget for the campaign and within 20 days, we could get 10k+ visitors on our landing page. I setup the campaign once again and it worked. Ad campaign started showing some numbers in a target audience list i.e. 1000+ (which as 0 in previous version of campaign). I went through many websites, blog, Facebook support, forums etc. but couldnât get the eligibility for dynamic remarketing ads. I am sharing this information with you because I donât anyone to tackle such kind of issues. You need to setup Facebook pixel, events and ecommerce tracking code on
your website, landing and payment success page before starting the dynamic remarketing ads.
