Enya + Van Damme + Volvo should equal a big fat NO. But this viral video showing off "volvo dynamic steering" is like the definition of awesome videos. It's just classic. So wrong and so right at the same time. Beautifully shot. Also, I love the youtube comment: I don't understand why everyone is questioning whether or not this is real, after all Chuck Norris is driving...both trucks.

Volvo and Van Damme create Epic Split
When I first saw this video I expected a big reveal of the computer graphics used to create it. Then I saw one behind the scenes trailer leading up to it. Currently, I've fallen into the netherworld between disbelief and amazement.
The ad has gone viral receiving 7 million views on YouTube alone in the past 24 hours. It's been covered by Mashable, NBC, and countless other outlets. I say "ad" because it is a promotion of Volvo's new "dynamic steering" technology. However, is anyone talking about steering? People are definitely talking about Jean-Claude Van Damme. The "epic split" builds upon his cameos in recent GoDaddy spots.
It would seem Volvo is happy millions of people are seeing the ad about "dynamic steering" assuming that somewhere in there the target audience will look into the product. Enya's "Only Time" and JVCD's serene meditation at the start of the ad tie the message of ease to the precision driving necessary for such a spectacle.
I'm still waiting on a big reveal. Though with Volvo attesting that the stunt is completely real (even launching teaser trailers describing the stunt), it seems we may have to wait a mighty long time.
My favorite thing on the Internet right now. Many are saying this is fake, but the whole point of the video is to demonstrate how effective Volvo's new driving system is. I think it is real, but there must be some safety harness on JCVD somehow.
