Kabu was quite used to the antics that Wooloos stirred up, whether trained or wild. It came from his friendship with Milo.Â
And so, out of pure instinct, seeing a cottony-white ball rolling down the sidewalk at him made him hunker down with his arms set out to stop it. He would be immovable; the trouble a rolling Wooloo could cause was unpredictable.Â
He didn’t have time to think over if this really was a Wooloo, because realistically it was probably something else, since he’d not seen many Pokemon here since his arrival.Â
But, the ball ran into him, and though one of his feet faltered, he didn’t fall and the ball was successfully stopped. It bleated, and Kabu’s stony look of concentration melted.Â
It was something of a relief to hear a Wooloo’s cry. He rolled it around till it’s head was back up top, giving it a fond pat.Â
“Now, I can’t imagine you’re here by yourself. Where is your trainer?”
