Dylan Joel is the son of Dodger and Rita, and is a twenty year old junior in university. His sexuality is bisexual/biromantic. Dylan grew up in New York City. He looks a lot like Diego Boneta. Dylan is currently taken. I’m always doing shows if I’m not I’m in the studio…

Dylan loved growing up in New York City. The lights, the sounds, the people; it was the perfect home for a young musician. His parents introduced him to music at a very young age and he was instantly hooked. He very quickly proved himself to be a musical genius, able to pick up any instrument he wanted and learning to play it in just a few hours. He had perfect pitch, a beautiful voice, and a smile that could light up a room. When it came to music, he was an absolute genius, the person to go to if you needed help with sight reading or wanted a quick lesson. Unfortunately, he wasn’t exactly smart when it came to anything else.

In every subject other than music, Dylan definitely wasn’t the brightest. He usually came in just below average in test scores and class rankings but that was enough for him. He could have done a lot better if he decided to focus or at least care about things like math and english, but he really couldn’t be bothered to. He was going to be a famous musician, did he really need to be smart on top of that? He knew how to ride the subways and avoid getting beat up. Sure, he didn’t always remember how many states there were in the United States or how many planets there were, but as far as he was concerned, that was useless information.

When Dylan reached high school, he thought about dropping out to pursue a professional career in music. He’d move to L.A. and hit the music scene there in an attempt to make a name for himself. However, his parents disagreed with his plans. Dodger and Rita were free spirits and they were completely behind their son pursuing music, but wanted him to at least finish high school and college. Eventually he agreed, deciding that he’d take the next few years to begin promoting himself online in hopes of building a following.

Dylan is hesitant about coming to Elias Prep. Being in New York meant he had access to tons of different music venues and as far as he can tell, Elias has nothing. It’s just a school, what’s that going to do for him? But then again, he’s hoping he’ll be able to find people worth starting a band with. And who knows, someone may have a connection to the industry.
