Looks like a koi fish, incredible color, incredible piece, too good to be true?That’s because it is! This Lodalite included Quartz has been infused with dye to change the duller brown and green colors, to vibrant oranges and yellows. The worse part is, this was not disclosed to us. Thankfully we knew what to look for, but at first glance, it caught us all off guard. These treatments are getting rather tricky and advanced. The color was the biggest giveaway. Usually inclusions in Quartz are not this vibrant in this color range. Amphibole Quartz is the closest, but the colors though beautiful, are more rust and maroon.
