            cynical as it sounds  ---    ❛  &  th--the s-starlight-t i s-see is a B-BILLION L-LIGHT YEARS-S old-d  --  a ghos--st.  ❜  her gaze is downcast. she doesn’t bother to look at aforementioned starlight. 

      dull features come to life as a bell signals a customer has entered her quaint shop. and who might it be-- ‘ well, if it isn’t my favorite customer, back again! i just got a fresh shipment of daisies in this morning, and you’ve got the first pick. ‘

water was splashed onto her face, anything to try and make her eyes look less puffy than they had been the moment she had walked into the change room at the community center. she was hiding; hiding from rudy and practically everyone. she’d messed up again today, it was unintentional but it was a small slip that someone had witnessed and had led to unkind words being cast in her directions. words that had once again made her doubt herself, words that had only just continued to convince her that she was created to be a monster. perhaps that was all she was.

   After a lovely cooked meal Prepared by meg , With help & Hindrance from Rudy. The two sit down and exchange gifts, Meg brought Rudy numerous things which he  excitedly opened like a five year old the highlight was of course a beautiful grey kitten. She was sure she’d out done any present --- not that it was a competition .. Until she opened the poorly wrapped little box, it was a jewelry case with  the most beautiful diamond ring inside.
