so I really hate to do this but have become increasingly stressful over the last two weeks and concerning for my current situation and I am in some severe need of help.
over a year ago, my boyfriend at the time, stole over $10,000 from me. that was my ENTIRE savings for school and what not. since then life has been a struggle for me since at the time I had moved out with him and then when he disappeared with all of my money, I was left to try and handle the rent for my apartment and everything that comes with it by myself. I could not manage on my own so I moved back home; however, my family has always been toxic.
fast forward to now and I am working 2 jobs in order to try and make enough money to pay off the massive loans I had to take out after my ex stole from me and I have recently been laid off from my third job, which was my MAIN source of income. without that job I barely have enough money to pay for my car, insurance and gas. AND TUITION FOR MY FINAL SEMESTER OF COLLEGE IS DUE IN A MONTH. student loans aren’t an option for me because the government says my parents make too much money (even though my parents have me and my two sisters to worry about and they almost went bankrupt earlier this year).
I am in DESPERATE need of help financially right now, since there is no way I can get all the money I need for tuition when I am already barely scraping enough money together to live. not to mention that my living situation has become EVEN MORE TOXIC than before and it has become so bad that I don’t even go home most days and stay over at friends houses or with my boyfriend. I need about $1,200 in order to be able to cover tuition and so I can start looking for a place of my own. I know this is a lot of money (and people are always hesitant when posts like these are made), but honestly, my life depends on it right now! I cannot afford to not finish school this year and the amount of mental and emotional abuse I experience at home is BEYOND manageable.
